Frequently asked questions

What will the wedding day look like?
We are having a Provence-style wedding, so the celebrations will start a little later in the day, around 5–6 PM.

We’ll begin with the ceremony, followed by cocktails and dinner outside. Later in the evening, we’ll move inside for dessert and dancing. Dancing will go late, so come prepared for a long evening!

What is the dress code?
Typical wedding attire, but not too formal. Most of the celebration will take place outside, and in the evening it might get chilly, so we recommend bringing something warm to wear later in the evening if needed.

Can I bring a plus-one?
We’re keeping the wedding fairly intimate, so we’re only able to accommodate established partners.

Are my children invited?
As we have many young children in the family who will be attending the wedding, unfortunately we aren’t able to extend the invitation to additional children beyond those already included on the guest list.

We hope you understand.

Do I need to rent a car?
If you are planning to explore Provence and the surrounding smaller villages, we recommend renting a car.

If you are mainly visiting Aix-en-Provence, Marseille or the Côte d’Azur, you can also get around by train and taxi.

Do you have a gift registry?
We know many of you are traveling a long way to celebrate with us, so we really don’t expect any gifts - having you there with us is already a gift for us.

If you insist on a gift, we would be very grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon.

What is the weather like in June?
June is generally warm and sunny in Provence, but evenings can be cooler. We recommend bringing something light to wear over your outfit in the evening.

When is check-in and check-out for the on-site accommodation at the Château?
Check-in is at 2PM, and checkout is at 11 AM the following day. Dropping off bags earlier than check-in may be possible; please contact us to arrange.

When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by January 30th (as a birthday gift to Maxime) so that we have enough time to finalise the arrangements.
